Get The Most Out Of Your Olympia Weekend
Brand Manager Erika Boström shares her best tips from Las Vegas and the Olympia weekend. I’m now back in Sweden after an eventful work weekend in Las Vegas. Visiting the Olympia is always an highlight as it provides opportunity to catch up with industry friends and ambassadors from around the globe. Besides watching competitions and walking the expo, we took the trip to Dragons Gym and City Athletic Club. We also made it to the famous Protein House for an awesome meal.
If you are planning to go to Las Vegas and to keep up with the Fitness lifestyle and soak up some inspiration, a workout at for example City Athletic Club followed by a trip to Protein House for lunch is definitely recommended.
There are so many options on hotels in Las Vegas and it can be hard to know where to stay. It very much depends on what is most important for you; To be near the expo? The competitions? Nightlife? To have a kitchen? Having a casino in the hotel? It is pretty easy to take a cab everywhere so don’t let some distance be an issue since that can save you a lot of money. The 5 star hotels along the Strip are in general much more expensive than hotels that are a few minutes drive from there. The bigger hotels often have a fully equipped gym and be sure to check the hotel websites to see what amenities they offer. If you are looking for a good hotel with a central location at the strip – but without a casino, Vdara could be an option. Here you have the possibility to prepare your own food in the room and even do laundry. If you want to stay where the Olympia finals are, The Orleans Hotel & Casino is the place. Just be aware that this is off the Las Vegas Strip. If you prefer being closer to the Las Vegas Convention Center where the expo is, you'll want to look at the map and pick a hotel in close proximity.
